BREAKING: Di Maria set on a move to Juventus
The Argentine star will allegedly be leaving PSG at the end of the season on a free transfer
The transfer market continues to drop bombshell after bombshell. Today is the turn of Angel Di María, who might be leaving PSG at the end of the season. According to news site Goal.com, the Argentine will be moving to Juventus when the season ends.
Di María, who had recently spoken about the uncertainty of his future, allegedly has everything ready to sign for the Italian giants.
According to Goal.com, "El Fideo and his representatives had started discussions with Juventus Turin. A first proposal had been made in April but the former Madrid player wanted to add an optional year to it. It is now done since the discussions have led in recent hours to an agreement around a one-year contract (plus an optional year after that)."
The deal would be signed in the coming days, marking a new era for Di María and a new Argentine star for Juventus, who recently gave a farewell to Paulo Dybala. "My idea is to stay another year in Europe and then return to Argentina. But we already know how football is. We have to take it year by year and see how it goes", Di Maria said in an interview given just last week. Now it seems he will get what he wanted.
Di María joined PSG in 2015 and scored 90 goals in 293 appearances with the Parisian club, winning five league titles and reaching the Champions League final in 2019/20.
