Speculation about a potential move for Conte has been going on for a while now. With Juventus in 8th in Serie A, having won just two of their first seven games and a good seven points off the top of the table, Massimiliano Allegri is against the ropes and many have hypotesised about a return to his first big job in management for Antonio Conte.

However, the Spurs manager finds the rumour feeding by the press distasteful: "It's disrespectful for the coach that works in Juventus and for me working in Tottenham. We have just started the season", he commented when asked about the suggestions linking with the Juve job, "We have all of the season to find the best solutions for the club".

In many ways, this echoes the feelings expressed by Maurizio Arrivabene, the CEO of Juventus, who recently insisted there were no plans to change managers: "It would be completely crazy to sack Allegri right now. He has a project here at Juventus, to be developed in the next four years".

However, the former Chelsea and Italy manager was adamant that there is no grounds for it: "Many times I spoke about this and I've said I'm happy and enjoying my time with Tottenham, the owner and Paratici. I don't see any problems".
