"We are working constantly": Klopp drops BIG hint on Liverpool signings

The German manager knows his team hasn't been up to the task, and he discussed the possibility of new signings

 Liverpool are in trouble. After two draws and a loss in their first three Premier League matches, the Reds are closer to a relegation scrap than a title challenge so far. Injuries, key players leaving and new signings underperforming have been very detrimental to Jurgen Klopp's side. The German knows it, and with a new league fixture coming up and the transfer window closing down soon, the manager spoke about their market prospects.

"We are working constantly on these things. One thing stays important; it needs to be the right player. We will see if something will happen or not. I don't know", explained Klopp about the possibility of adding a new asset to their team, with many linking Liverpool with midfielders like Borussia Dortmund's Jude Bellingham and Brighton and Hove Albion's Moises Caicedo.

However, for now Klopp is focused on what's coming up, and not getting carried away: "We respect the scoreline [against Manchester United]. We had 70 per cent posession and chances but we need to improve. It's done and dusted. The situation isn't what we wanted but it's a challenge and I like it. We have to fight back".

The schedule could aid the Reds in that challenge, with back to back games at Anfield getting them the opportunity to perform at get their season back on track, something Jurgen Klopp knows perfectly. "I am really happy we have the opportunity to play at home twice. I have a good sense our people understand the situation as well and I can't wait to create a special Anfield atmosphere together. The team and the crowd can make things happen", added the German manager.
