Xavi Hernandez is officially the worst Barcelona manager of the last 20 years. That's what statistical analysis reveals following the Blaugrana's eventful afternoon at the hands of Real Madrid. Barça's 3-1 loss took their unbeaten record in the league and put three points between themselves and los Blancos at the top of the league. Now Xavi ranks lowest amongst every Barça manager to reach 50 games at the helm of the club since Rijkaard.
Xavi's numbers suggest he hasn't been the revolutionary coach many expected
It's feels like it's been an eternity since the "134 days" flag was flown by the Blaugrana faithful. According to Spanish journalist Pedro Martin's statistics, Xavi has won 28, drawn 11, and lost 11 of his 50 games since taking over in November 2021. That totals an hypothetical 95 points, which is the lowest score of any Barcelona manager since the data began to be compiled in 2003. He has one point fewer than Frank Rijkaard, who had the second-worst 50-match streak when he took over that same year.
Moreover, that means some of Barça fans "less liked" managers such as Ronald Koeman (W33 D7 L10), Gerardo Martino (W37 D8 L5) or Ernesto Valverde (W36 D11 L3) all rank higher than La Masia's favourite son, with 106, 117 and 119 points respectively.

That means its actually Luis Enrique, the current Spanish National Team coach who sits at the top, with an impressive 42 victories from his first 50 matches, drawing three and losing five for a total of 129 points.
