The 27 year old Frenchman is out of consideration for Massimiliano Allegri at the Bianconeri, and the club is not opposed to him leaving at a relatively cheap price. But they've now hit another obstacle: the players wages.
According to reports, the midfielder is seeking a staggering £8.5 million a year contract. The Frenchman is represented by his mother Veronique, and she's known to be a tough negotiator, who's also said to be pressing for a three-year deal and guarantees about Champions League football.
This throws yet another spanner in the works for Manchester United, while most sources are suggesting that Juventus are merely observers at this time over Rabiot's transfer to United, with the two clubs having already agreed terms for the deal.

However, others are suggesting that this could indeed by a problem for Juventus, who are trying to secure the funds to go through with a move for Paris Saint Germain's Leandro Paredes, a very high priority target for Bianconeri's manager Allegri.
