It will be historic: this could be the very last season of Sergio Busquets at FC Barcelona. The Blaugranas are going through a deep revolution under Xavi Hernandez, who's had the ungrateful task of shifting many of the club's greats from the latest era into lesser role, bringing him to clashs with Dani Alves, Jordi Alba and Gerard Pique. On June 30, 2023, the day his current contract expires and after fifteen seasons of serving as the focal point of all that has happened and is happening on the field since 2008, Sergio Busquets could be putting up his boots at Barça.  Busquets will do everything in his power to ensure that his farewell to the club of his life will be in the best possible circumstances, although it will be hard to match his current coach's last season, with Barcelona winning it all under Luis Enrique.
