Lloris, who has been with the team for more than a decade, is reportedly on the way out. The trustworthy Frenchman has played 425 times for the London club, but his deal expires in 2024. According to most sources, the 35-year-old is not anticipated to sign a new contract with the North London club, so Spurs are planning the signing of his replacement.

Top of the list is the 29 year old Slovenian, who has been with the Colchoneros since 2014, when he replaced now-Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois as Simeone's number one. He consistently ranks among the top goalkeepers in Europe and was a key member of the Atletico club that won LaLiga in 2021

Oblak has emerged as the main name in discussions between managing director Fabio Paratici and Conte, but they may have trouble getting him to move to London. The Slovenian signed a contract until 2028 recently, and his release clause (which contracts are mandated by law to have in Spain) sits at over 100 million euros.

Moreover, Tottenham will face competiton from other Premier League sides for the Slovenian's signature, with Manchester United also reportedly looking at alternatives to their first choice goalie after David de Gea's recent blunders.
