REJECTED: Liverpool turns down second Bayern Munich offer for Mane

The English team will only sell if clubs meet their valuation of the Senegalese star

This sure has been a hard market for Bayern Munich. The Bavarian giants are embroiled in a war of words with one of their stars in Robert Lewandowski, with the Polish striker asking desperately for the club to let him move on a free, and now things are getting difficult on the adquisitions side of business.

The problem seems to be that Bayern Munich may be looking to stick too closely to the rule of "buy low-sell high" when it comes to one of their biggest targets of the market, Sadio Mané.

The Liverpool forward has made it clear that he wants to depart Anfield, looking for new challenges (much like Lewandowski) after winning everything he could win with the Reds.

However, just like Bayern Munich are doing when it comes to the Lewandowski negotiation, Liverpool are not giving up easily to the desires of their player. According to UK network BBC, the Anfield team rejected a deal worth £30m for the Senegalese forward. As reported, Liverpool expect around £40m for the player.

Unlike the situation faced by Bayern Munich, however, Liverpool aren't facing nearly as much pressure as the Bavarian giants, with Mane being much less talkative about his desire to leave, despite there being just one year remaining on his contract, the same as Lewandowski.

Sadio Mane scored 23 goals in 51 games for Liverpool this season and would make a valuable addition to any team, even more so to one which seems is about to lose their best attacker.
