The MYSTERY MAN that GALTIER has PSG chasing
Nasser Al-Khelaïfi warned us that the glamour era for Paris Saint Germain was over, and it is showing. Far from the flash signings of last season, when they announced Lionel Messi, Sergio Ramos and Gianluigi Donnarumma among others, this summer it's all been about much more unknown names and cost-effective signings. It looks now like they have another one to add to the list: RB Leipzigs's Nordi Mukiele.
The 24 year old Frenchman plays as a right back or right wingback for the German outfit, and is know for his no-nonsense approach, with a strong record for aerial duels, tackling and very high work rate. With Christophe Galtier confirming that he's looking at a 3-4-1-2 for the French champions next season, it's clearly a position to take into consideration.
As reported, PSG has already reached an agreement on personal terms with Mukiele, who's keen on the move to take a step forward in his career, and a return to France after leaving Montpellier in 2018 for 16 million euros.
Now, negotiations are going on with the German club to find an offer that works for all parties. According to some reports, 10 million euros would be all it takes to make RB Leipzig part with Mukiele, as he only has one year remaining on his contract, and you could suspect he's not interested in renewing with such big clubs knocking on his door.
Nordi Mukiele played 38 matches for RB Leipzig last season across all competitions, scoring two goals and providing five assists.
