"I'm CONVICED Neymar will win the World Cup and the Ballon d'Or"
The Brazilian star received a big show of support from one of those closest to him
Neymar's season with Paris Saint Germain started in the best way. Despite it being overshadowed by the problems with Kylian Mbappé, the Brazilian is in a great moment at the French club and is vital in head coach Christophe Galtier's team. At the Brazilian National Team they hope that this performance can carry on until Qatar 2022. In an interview with ESPN Brazil, Brazil's head coach Tite assured that it could be Neymar's World Cup.
"Neymar could be the best in the World Cup and win the Ballon d'Or. I am convinced that this could happen", said Tite, who believes that if Neymar manages to take this moment to Qatar he could finally get the crown he's been denied by the likes of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
"What are we dependent on Neymar? Yes, logical. Every big team is dependent on its great players. We are dependent on Neymar and we also are dependant on Coutinho, on Casemiro. Every big team depends on its best footballers", Tite added in your interview.
In addition, Tite explained how the Brazilian star improved under Galtier: "Neymar is in a more central position, more similar to that of PSG. With creative freedom to be the creative player, the assistant, to play the pass, the penultimate pass because he has that ability but also the player to move vertically to score. With the compression work without the ball, you allow more freedom to your great player. Neymar is a great player and he is allowed to change gear defensively to have more space."
At the time, Tite was very harsh with Pochettino, the former PSG coach, for the position he gave Neymar: "If a coach selects Neymar as a winger, I'll call him a donkey after watching the game. Creativity is not constancy, it's eventuality , it's circumstantial. He will make more mistakes, yes, because his creative capacity and the place where he finds himself demand it".
The truth is that Tite spoke about Neymar and has already warned that if he plays in Qatar 2022 as he is doing at PSG, the Brazilian could be a serious candidate for the next Ballon d'Or.
