"Come to Newcastle!": Premier League star PLEADS Neymar to join them

This had been coming for a while. When it was announced that the Saudí Arabia's Public Investment Fund had taken over Newcastle United, many expected the Magpies to make a huge splash in the market, as did the new owners of Manchester City and Paris Saint Germain when they arrived. However, the bling-bling may be about to arrive to the north east of England, and it may be Neymar that's bringing it.

Neymar is facing increasing pressure at PSG

So far, Newcastle has barely changed their modus operandi from the Mike Ashley days, making low cost,  shrewd adquisitions and working on their squad from the ground up, instead of throwing money at their problems. Eddie Howe has proved a more than capable manager and the Magpies were one of the best Premier League sides after his announcement last season.

However, hard work can only take you so far, and with the new owners bound to want to make a statement of intent signing, things could change very quickly. With Neymar's situation at PSG becoming ever more untenable, the Magpies are willing to go above and beyond to convince the Brazilian star that they're the place he needs to go, and that would even include guaranteeing him the No.10 shirt, currently worn by Allan Saint-Maximin.

Allan Saint-Maximin has been one of Newcastle's best, but he may be asked to give up his shirt number if a big star like Neymar arrives

Brazilian Joelinton has started to approach Neymar about the possibility of joining him and Bruno Guimaraes at St. James Park. "Neymar? We can get him a spot, sure! In any team in the world! So the invitation is done. Ney, if you are listening to this you can come to Newcastle! I'll run to you all the time! If we have the chance I hope to call him and say the Number 10 shirt is waiting for him", said the Brazilian in an interview recently. The pieces are falling into place, all that remains is convicing the former Santos prodigy of moving to the Premier League.
