"Is Mbappé happy here? You should ask him": PSG director denies rumours
The turmoil is ongoing as Mbappé is reportedly asking to leave PSG, but the PSG hierarchy is denying it
The plot thickens with the Kylian Mbappé saga. French media outlet RMC dropped a bomb as they announced that the striker is desperate to leave Paris Saint Germain, and now club advisor Luis Campos has spoken on the matter.
Kylian Mbappe is furious: he wants to leave PSG as soon as possible
The situation is on edge. Mbappe has allegedly met with the directors and made definitve his desire to leave the club immediately, pointing to the transfer market that opens in two months. The Frenchman is worn out from friction, ego problems but mainly, he is angry with the club hierarchy.
According to the striker, many of the promises that the club made to make him stay were broken, key among the selling of Neymar and the appointment of Zinedine Zidane, who the former Monaco player wanted as the head coach. More over, now with Christophe Galtier at the helm, it's the Brazilian and a very influential Lionel Messi who are shining, while he plays in a role he does not like.
However, Luis Campos has spoken to cold down things: "Mbappé has never told me anything about it [leaving in January]. I deny this info", he told Olivier Tallaron of French TV Canal+, ""He has never told me about his intention to leave in January. We speak with him, Messi, Ney... we're very happy to be here".
"Is Mbappé happy here? You should ask him, it's a serious question. I see him working as a top professional", added the Portuguese director, who has recently spoken about his desire to keep PSG's big three together in Paris.
Luis Campos insisted he knows nothing of Mbappe's desire to leave
Many argue that if Kylian Mbappe is determined to leave, it would be Campos' head to roll, but so far the Portuguese remains confident in his work at PSG: "It's not true that I'm leaving Paris. I'm very happy to be here, I'm under contract for the next three years. My mission is to bring important trophies here".
