That's because United is under the interest of some billionaire businessmen, including Sir Jim Rattcliffe, who recently openly declared his desire to buy the team and confirmed he recently held a meeting with the Glazers to discuss the possible purchase of the team.

The Glazers would, however, would consider selling the club for a multi-million dollar value of $10 billion, according to an article published in UK newspaper The Daily Star after Rattcliffe's remarks. "It is understood the Glazers would entertain an offer in excess of $10 billion (£9 billion) and be willing to negotiate a possible sale".
