After missing the pre season tour on "personal issues", while his agent Jorge Mendes went around Europe offering him up to any takers, Ronaldo finally returned to England to train under ten Hag. Ronaldo did not make preseason and at 38 years old and with no competitive rhythm he could end up being detrimental to the team.
