Robert Lewandowski and FC Barcelona have a date with destiny. Xavi Hernández's team could be relegated, for the second consecutive season, from the Champions League to the Europa League. However, for the Bayern Munich players things aren't so serious, and they have their former teammate know as much.

By the time Barça's game begins, Inter will have already hosted Viktoria Plzen in the first round of games, meaning the Blaugrana's clash with Bayern may not carry as much significance. However, the team lead by Lewandowski remains optimistic that the Czech team will perform the miracle in Italy and maintain their chances of qualifying.

To do so, however, they have to beat Bayern Munich at home, and the Polish striker's old teammates know as much. Thomas Muller, who scored a goal and provided an assist in three Champions League games this season, didn't forget Lewandowski and he shared a video on his Instagram account, joking about the German giants arrival to Barcelona. "Lewy, we're on our way", he laughed with a number of teammates.

While the video seemed good natured, with all the drama that surrounded Robert Lewandowski's departure from Bayern Munich and the numerous reports that other senior figures in the dressing room (most likely Muller and goalkeeper Manuel Neuer) resented the publicity of the conflict, so there could very well be some tongue-in-cheek fun to it.

Thomas Müller had already thrown a prank at his old teammate before Barça's trip to Munich. The German remarked before the game, which Bayern ultimately won, "I hope we can demonstrate Lewandowski that it was a mistake to leave".
