How have things changed. Now, with United deepening their crisis and out of the Champions League, the former returning prodigal son Cristiano Ronaldo is looking for any way to leave the club, and keeps getting rejected by every potential suitor. It's in this context that reports have emerged of a key meeting coming up between CR7, his agent Jorge Mendes and the Manchester United manager, Erik Ten Hag.

"Ten Hag is still waiting and hoping to keep Cristiano at the club. And what I'm told is that Ronaldo is very happy with Ten Hag. He considers Ten Hag a top manager, the perfect man to rebuild Man Utd".
