Very few things have worked out according to plan for Timo Werner since he joined Chelsea in 2020. The German striker hasn't been able to adjust to English football or perform at his best at Stamford Bridge. That's why he could be going back to where he first burst into the scene, RB Leipzig

The 26 year old striker departed for Chelsea a few years ago, but since then he's failed to earn a place in Thomas Tuchel's team, and now the competition is growing. That would be the price striker needs to pay in exchange for leaving Chelsea and going back to the team where he excelled to earn a spot in Germany's 2022 World Cup squad.
