"Dominate, have the ball and play in the opposite field", sounds simple enough but in football is extremely difficult. However, that's what Xavi wants from his Barcelona team as they take on Inter Milan in their next Champions League fixture, and he won't resign it just because it's an away game.

Barcelona will continue their European campaign in Milan, facing the Nerazzurri. Xavi's team has three points from their first two matches, having thrashed Viktoria Plzen but falling to Bayern Munich, who are leading the group; meanwhile, Inter boast the same results, which means the winners of this clash will have the upper hand going into the second set of games.

Xavi knows this, but he intends to go out and attack from the get go: "We already did it in the Real [Sociedad] field. We have to take risks, be brave, it's our philosophy, go for the game, go forward and not let Inter run".

The Blaugrana manager still laments the way their game against Bayern Munich went, but he won't negotiate their style: "In Germany we were superior in the game to a very good Bayern, candidate and favorite for the Champions League", he added, "We have to be more effective, compete better. We are in a good moment, the dynamics are good and that of the rival is not, we must take advantage of it and show a lot of personality from the first moment".

"The strategic goal from Bayern Munich hurt us a lot, we had the game under control, these are details that make you change the dynamic. We generate a lot and, if you don't concede in, you have options", he assured. Xavi has the Barcelona DNA in his blood and he always wants to win the Barça way.
