Barça go with EVERYTHING for Lewandowski: "We have made an offer"
One of the most important sagas in the transfer market added a new chapter this week after FC Barcelona made another offer to sign Robert Lewandowski.
The president of the club, Joan Laporta, commented in Andreas Christensen's presentation that they await the response of the Bavarian board: "We have made an offer for Lewandowski, and we are waiting for Bayern's response".
"I want to thank the player for his gestures to (try) to move. Bayern must be evaluating the offer and we are waiting for the answer", he added.
Then, the press asked him about the rumors of interest in Cristiano Ronaldo and Laporta commented: "We are very lucky that most of the players want to come to Barça. When the possibility opens up, they consider it and are excited".
"I'm not going into names, I'm talking in general. There are great players who are at big clubs, but when there is the option of coming to the club, they consider it. We have seen it and we are so lucky, because of our history, because of the players we have had and for what we have achieved," Laporta stressed.
As such, Xavi Hernández awaits the possibility of having one of the best strikers on the planet in his squad, who last season scored 50 goals in all competitions.
