"It may be possible that my career in Europe is over. And I have a dream, which is to play for Flamengo. I really like Flamengo, I love them very much. The shirt I have was given to me by the president. That filled my heart. I have the dream of playing there, I cannot deny it. When it happens, I will go there. Hopefully it will be soon, if the coach or the leaders want me, there will be an approach and I will do everything possible to get there". Those were the words of Arturo Vidal from Italy  some time ago, and the dream will be coming true.

Despite Boca Juniors' dreams of signing him, Vidal has finished his contract with Inter Milan and signed with Flamengo. The deal is reportdly for 18 months, with wages of 4 million euros. Vidal will earn the same as other team figures such as David Luiz, Giorgian de Arrascaeta and Gabriel Barbosa, and would be among the best paid in all of Brasileirao.

Vidal earned 7 million euros at Inter Milan, a number that Flamengo wasn't able to match. However, the Chilean was clear: "My goal is very clear: win everything with Flamengo, fight for the Libertadores, which is a dream because it's like the Champions League in Europe. If I go, it's to keep fighting and be an important player".
