Lately, when somebody screws up in the world of football, you can always count on Antonio Cassano to pile on their misery. His latest victim? Pierre Emerick Aubameyang. The former Gunner made some bad remarks about Mikel Arteta and Cassano's sharp tongue wasn't going to let it slide.

With Arsenal flying high in the Premier League, a video filmed of Aubameyang came up recently. In it, the current Chelsea player slams his former boss, claiming he's no good at managing big names: "Manage big characters or big players, (Arteta) can't deal with it. He needs some young players, they don't say anything, they listen".

Of course, the criticism felt hollow considering the circunstances that surrounded the Gabon international's departure from the Emirates Stadium, and more so with the Gunners leading the Premier League under Arteta. But that didn't stop Antonio Cassano from giving his take... and he's not exactly on Aubameyang's side.

"Now Aubameyang is speaking as well. He dares to say that Arteta doesn't know how to handle champions. Does Aubameyang consider himself a champion? But he doesn't know how to catch the ball", blasted the former Italian international talking on YouTube channel BoboTV.

Cassano defended the work the Spanish manager is doing at Arsenal, claiming the former Gunner should focus on playing football instead of talking: "When Arteta took Arsenal, in a general disaster, there were many players among that & he was there too. Try to play football instead of talking about Arteta, who is first in the most important league in the world. For me, it's madness".

For his own part, Aubameyang defended himself on his Twitter. "Aware there is a video out that was recorded just after I arrived at Barca. At the time I still had a lot of bad feelings in me - Arsenal are doing great things this season and I wish all my old guys well, just not on November 6 (when Arsenal meet his current club Chelsea). Now full focus on tomorrow".
